Our Returns and Exchange Policies

Legislative compliance

Our return and exchange policy is in compliance to the South African Consumer Protection Act, No. 68 of 2008 was signed on 24 April 2009.

Non refundable / exchangeable items and services

PPE. All Masks/Filters are nonreturnable*

DISCOUNTED ITEMS: Items bought on discount may only be returned for an exchange or store credit. A refund is not permitted.

SWIMSUIT RETURN/EXCHANGE: Women’s and Girl’s swimwear can be returned for an exchange only. Item must be unworn with the tags and sanitary liner attached

ALTERED ITEMS:  Altered items are not returnable.

DELIVERY: We do not refund delivery costs

Return conditions

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are unhappy for any reason, we accept returns for exchange within 7 days for Domestic orders. If the package does not reach us safely, we will not be able to complete the exchange. Please make sure you get tracking details on your returns so that proof of delivery can be verified. No returns or exchanges after 7 days.

All items returned must be unworn and unwashed. Sales tags must be attached and packaging must be returned.

Cost of returning items (delivery costs) is the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds

We have a NO CASH REFUND POLICY. However, store credit will be issued for returns before 7 days. This will be implemented following Velani Boutique physically receiving the returned item.

Exchanges

We accept exchanges within 7 days after your order was delivered to you.

If you wish to return an item that was already exchanged, you can only be provided with store credit.  No refunds, no exceptions.

Only 1 exchanges will be allowed per order.

Non delivered items

In the instance that courier tracking states that your package has been delivered but you have not received your items, please contact us. Once the package is in the hands of the courier, they become liable for the safe delivery of your items. If a package isn’t properly delivered, upon notification from the customer, we will open a case with the courier. Please allow 2 weeks for us to investigate and arrive at a resolution. If you do not receive your order within the 2 weeks of investigation, we’ll provide you with the option of either reshipping your order or giving you store credit. A refund will not be issued.
